About RISE

RISE is an initiative of local educators, employers, and community leaders to support students in their career development, increase local retention of graduates, and strengthen the workforce pipeline in the region.

We hope to address barriers that impede students’ ability to learn about career opportunities in the Ohio Valley or pursue internships, enhance collaboration between employers and education institutions, and build awareness of career options in local high school and college students

RISE is open to any employer, educator, or community member interested in enhancing the connections our local students have to employers. There are no membership dues or requirements.

In May 2024, RISE members met to create a strategic plan.
